Edward John Audoire

He enlisted (re-enlisted?) in the Royal Engineers on 31 May 1915 and went on active service later that year. According to his medal index card he first served in Egypt (3), and was entitled to the three standard Service medals. As a Corporal in 455 Field Company he was wounded on 28 April 1917 but stayed with his unit. He was wounded again on 19 May of the same year and again remained on duty. He was eventually demobilised and placed on reserve in 1919.
