In 1914 he was serving on HMS Centurion. In May 1915,
he took part in the Battle of Jutland as Captain RMLI
Died at Chiswick, aged 36 years. Death registered at
Brentford, p3 181. Naval records indicate tuberculosis

Born at Chiswick, London. Son of Charles John &
Kate Anderson (née Barclay). Resident at Elizabeth
College, St Peter Port, Guernsey in 1901

He married Marion Louise Menhinck in 1918. She took
her own life in 1929
Major Anderson is not commemorated by the Commonwealth
War Graves Commission
