Carved on the Cambrai East Memorial at Louverval along with a group of R.G.L.I. soldiers with no known grave.

Son of Albert and Harriet Despointes, of Picquerel, Vale. Husband of Alice Agnes Fromage (formerly Despointes), of Picquerel, Vale. Born and enlisted at Guernsey.

Killed in action, aged 27 years.
