Born at
Guernsey. Second and only surviving son of the late Lt Colonel H G Fincham (RAOD)
and the late Mrs W F Jameson. Lt Col. Fincham was Deputy Assist Com Gen of Ordnance
at Guernsey in 1888.
Killed in action, aged 25 years.
George Fincham's records show that he qualified as
a pilot in a Maurice Farman biplane in May 1916 at the
Military School, Brooklands, Surrey. Royal Aero Club
member no.1265.
