Son of Mr. William J. & Emily J McCully, of 64, Shorrold Rd., Fulham, London. Born at Guernsey. Enlisted at Woolwich, London. His father was a professional soldier in the Royal Artillery and was stationed in Guernsey when Frederick was born.

Died of wounds, aged 27 years.
