Canterbury, on 22 June 1917 "on a hot day".
They had left the island about three weeks earlier,
and they stayed there until they left for France on
26 September.
Son of Alfred & Lydia Pipet of Salt Pans, St Sampson's.
Born and enlisted at Guernsey.
Died of wounds, aged 21 years
He was wounded and taken prisoner of war on 12 April
1918, and died of wounds on 23 April 1918
