Guernsey Press Aug. 1915 mentions him as honourably
discharged due to shrapnel wounds. Son of Mr Harry Skin
& Mrs Mary Skin, formerly a grower and carpenter,
of La Ramée, St Peter Port Brother of A/B Albin
Skin. Born 1888 at St Peter Port.
Enlisted in 1903. Served in India. Transferred to reserve
in 1906 and re-enlisted in Aug 1914. Ex Royal Guernsey
Militia.William Cecil Skin appears on the Bailiwick
of Guernsey war memorial in St Peter Port as "C
Skin". An error was made as he died in Cambridge
in 1971.
