Son of Daniel and Alice P D Torode (née Le Tocq), of Grandes Rocques, Castel, Guernsey. Born at Guernsey. Formerly employed at Maingy Quarry by Mr E Corbet.

Wounded on 11th April he died at King George's Hospital London, of wounds received at Sailly-sur-Lys, aged 22 years
