Corporal George Edward Walden

Born at Alderney. Son of Thomas and
Fanny Walden. Husband of Louisa A. Carré, of
9, Victoria Avenue, Les Banques, Guernsey.
Died of pleurisy and pneumonia at the
Military Hospital, Fort George, aged 52 years. He was
on 28 days dispersal furlough and was taken ill as soon
as he arrived on the island.
