Born on 27/05/1883, St Peter Port, Guernsey. Son of
Thomas Bridle and Elizabeth Le Poidevin. Husband of
Eleanor Maud Sheppherd, a farmer's daughter. (m.21/03/1907
In Nelson, Ontario) . His mother died in 1888 when he
was only 5. In 1891, aged 7, was living with his uncle
William Heas in Guelle Road who was a dairy farmer.
His sisters were living with a cousin and his brother
William with a maternal uncle who was a grocer like
his father. In 1901, was boarding with William Le Sauvage
in Rouge Rue, St Peter Port whilst working as a cattleman
on a farm.
In 1911 was a labourer living in Hatton Ontario with
his Canadian born wife. Three children born between
1908 and 1912. 5ft 3.25in, 36 in chest, dark complexion,
brown eyes and hair.
