Son of Helier Thomas Carré and Julia Ann Guille. Brother of Jean Pierre, Julia Ann, Mary, Helier, Marie, Elizabeth, Hedley and Thomas.

Married to Adelina Baker.
Father of Adelina, Christine, Hilary, Philip, Lucy and Thomas. 'Pop' to Nellie, Vivian, Linda, Sue, Jan, Peter, Diana, George and Angela.

Awarded BEM for long service as Sark postman.
Died in 1961 aged 82.
Lived at La Rade, La Peigneurie, Victoria Cottage and La Collenette, Sark.
Private in the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry 1224.

Transferred to England for demobilisation, 20th February 1919.

Member of Methodist Chapel Sunday School. Member of Sark British Legion.
