Press report indicate HMS Gurkha but no RN record yet found.

Born in 1895 at St Peter Port, Guernsey. Son of Jersey born Ekias & Emily Cavey. Died in Plymouth in 1933.

1911 census shows him at HM Training Ship (reformatory) "Cornwall". Built as HMS Wellesley in 1812, she was renamed and moored in the River Thames as HM Cornwall. In 1911 she was moored at Denton, near Gravesend.
