Born in 1893 at Vale, Guernsey. The son of Alfred and Irven Corbet, née Foss. Husband of Ann Cameron Kincaid

Enlisted in December 1915 at Toronto, he embarked in August 1916 for England and then to France in October 1916.

Following serious shrapnel wounds in May 1917, and stays in hospitals in Boulogne, Netley and Epsom, he was repatriated to Canada in June 1918.

Discharged as unfit in October 1918.

He died in 1971 at Toronto, Canada.
