Private Thomas Hamon
Royal Guernsey Light Infantry

Born in 1891 at Sark. Son of Thomas Hamon and Harriet Hamon. Married to Maud Vibert and later Hilda Mary Le Masurier.

Occupation Fisherman. Known as Tommy V. Died in 1980 aged 88. Lived at Vaurocque and Tanquerels, Sark.

Part of Reinforcement 1, transferred to France 24th October 1917. Invalided to England wounded 18th April 1918. Suffered a hand wound.

Member of Methodist Chapel Sunday School. Member of Sark British Legion.
