RT2. Reinforcement two, embarked 09/11/1917. Taken Prisoner of War at Cambrai, 01/12/17. Repatriated to England 01/12/18.

Born 1899 at Vale, Guernsey. Son of August A P & Jersey born Ann Mary Cronier. Twin of Private Jean A F Le Roi.

Augie worked at Piette Mills, Guernsey as a stoker and was with for them for over 50 years. He came from a large family and his brothers fought with different regiments. He had a twin brother Jean who also served with the RGLI.

He was born to French subjects, Auguste Le Roi and Jersey born Ann Mary Cronier, at Grouville, Jersey in 1899.

He died on the 12th of March 1982.
