Private Robert Sullivan
                          Royal Guernsey Light Infantry
Born in Deptford, South East London in 1898. After
the War he worked for the Gas Light and Coke Company
as a labourer, still in Deptford as far as we know.
He was married in 1923 to Lucy Ada Sisson (she also
lived in Deptford); at some time they moved from Deptford
to Downham which was in Kent at the time but is now
in the London Borough of Bromley. About 1939/1940 he
re-enlisted in the Army and served in the Royal Army
Pay Corps until he was demobbed about 1945/1946.

He died in 1962 after suffering from Pneumonia and various
respiratory complications. He was still resident in
Downham at the time of his death.
