When Henry Charles Sweet was born on February 9th 1899,
in St Peter Port, Guernsey, his father, William Sweet,
was 45 years old and his mother, Elizabeth Sweet née
Ring, was 44.
He married Lilian Maude Fletcher on July 1st 1919 in
Guernsey. They went on to produce 15 children in 19
years.
He died in The Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Guernsey
on 9th January 1973, aged 74 years
