Reinforcement no.2, consisting of 30 other ranks, embarking 09/11/1917 and joining Base Depot 13/11/1917. Wounded at Cambrai on 01/12/1917 & invalided to England on 31/12/17. To 706641 Labour Corps. Discharged 18/10/1918. Silver War (Discharge) Badge no.B27310.

When Henry Charles Sweet was born on February 9th 1899, in St Peter Port, Guernsey, his father, William Sweet, was 45 years old and his mother, Elizabeth Sweet née Ring, was 44.
He married Lilian Maude Fletcher on July 1st 1919 in Guernsey. They went on to produce 15 children in 19 years.

He died in The Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Guernsey on 9th January 1973, aged 74 years
