The son of Pierre and Marie Auffret of 4 Regent Place,
Regent Road, St Helier, Jersey. Also called 'Jean',
he went to the front with the Jersey Company in December
1915 and in March the following year he trained as an
Observer and a Bomber.
Killed in action at Guillemont, aged 18 years

Roll of Honour. News has been received
by Mr & Mrs Auffret of 4 Regent Place, Regent Road
that their son, Lance Corporal J Auffret of the Jersey
Contingent, has been killed in action on 6 September.
