Born at Guernsey. Sixth son of Frederick and Elizabeth Champion who were both born at Jersey.
Husband of Emily Cora Champion, 22 Tresillian St., Cattledown Rd., Plymouth.

Killed in action, aged 21 years

He could swim and was passed test at Deal on 29/04/1915. Passed Corporal Feb 1918. Was also wounded at least twice on 2/8/1916 & 18/09/1916. Awarded one Good Conduct Badge on 21 Feb 1917.
