Roll
of Honour. A couple of days ago we announced that Rifleman Charles du Heaume of
the Kings Royal Rifles had been wounded for the second time and we now regret
to state that the gallant soldier passed away on 4 September as a result of his
injuries. The late Rifleman was the son of the late Mr Charles du Heaume and Mrs
du Heaume of 4 Salisbury Cottages, St Saviours Road and was in his 23rd year.
He was very popular locally and had shown himself to be a most capable soldier.
We offer the mother and other relatives our sincere sympathy in their sorrow.
