Roll of Honour. The sympathy of all our readers we feel sure will be extended to Mr A Mesny of St Aubins who has received a letter from the Corporal of the section stating that his son, Private Arthur Mesny of the Dorset Regiment, has been instantaneously killed. The late soldier, who was in his 20th year, was not only a smart soldier but very popular and highly respected amongst all he came into contact with. Previous to enlisting last March he was employed at A de Gruchy & Co and was one of the most prominent workers at St Aubins Church and was a very promising organist. When he left the Island he carried a recommendation from the Officer of the West Battalion for an OTC, but unfortunately he has made the supreme sacrifice before this change could take place.
