At the end of the war, Mrs Le Sueur (Bob's mother) was living with her parents who owned a hotel. One of the semi-permanent residents was a Captain or Major Lugden who was in charge of the Blanche Banques Camp. He knew one of the prisoners was a bit of an artist, and so arranged for this drawing to be done.
