A hand made wooden model of one of the French Flying Boats that operated from the seaplane base in Guernsey. Measuring 12ins (30.5cm) long with a wingspan of 17ins (43cm) it was given to my father, who would have been 7 or 8 years old at the time, by one of the French servicemen stationed there.
