Born in 1870 at St Peter Port, Guernsey, the son of
John Druce and Mary Newton. Husband of Ellen Louisa
Stewart. He was working as a tinsmith in 1901, 1911
and 1921. He enlisted in the Royal Engineers as a Pioneer
(110180) then the Labour Corps. He served in France
from 21st August 1915 and was finally discharged on
21st August 1919.
He was the father of AB
Reginald Stewart Druce, Stoker
Herbert Druce and Stoker
Harold Druce who also served.
